2/5 When we arrived there was a loud fan noise, it turned out to be from the microwave which was locked. I had to call the manager to get the code to open the door and turn off the fan. We plunged toilets 5 times and once in the upstairs sink. The handle fell off the wall when my friend tried to turn on the shower in the tub. The fixture is coming out of the wall. There was no TV until the last night of our 4 night stay. NO ONE could fix it. A firestick in the end and a friend of the manager was able to fix after an hour and a half. Half of the electrical outlets don't work and there were no options for music except what the owner left in LPS for the turntable and not our taste. There was a large screen print in the bathroom of a Smtih and Wesson revolver as well as a ceramic vase made of three revolvers on the bookshelf. Not very welcoming. The icemaker did not work, though the friend of the manager came with a bag of ice and a bottle of wine - it didn't really make us feel any better about the property. I manage property here in Santa Fe, NM and I would never lease out a home like this until these issues were addressed.
We did like the location and the beds were comfortable, but the carpeting is very worn and it needs paint.
We feel we deserve a partial refund as this property was not "stunning" as presented on the vrbo platform.
