Great Location
5/5 Five star rating just for the 2:00 check in and 12:00 check out. Left us time to enjoy the beach in the morning before packing up to leave. I’ve always loved the charm of historic homes and this didn’t disappoint. Beds were comfortable and everyone slept well. A little low pressure with the water for the shower, but with historic homes, maybe that’s the norm. Walking distance to strand and restaurants, which was fantastic. The host was quick to respond when we needed them, and that always makes for a great trip!

Amazing stay!!!
5/5 Our family stayed at this property during Dickens on the Strand. It was our first stay in this area and it was perfect!! We walked to the strand for the event and it was so convenient. This house was perfect for our family. The only feedback would be that it might be good to have TV's upstairs, but we honestly weren't there enough for it to matter. Very clean and nicely decorated. We also loved that a 2pm check in and 12pm check out were offered. Perfect!! Would highly recommend!!

Historic charmer
5/5 We booked this charming home in the historic district of Galveston to experience a different side of the city and we weren’t disappointed. The home is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is very well equipped for any gourmet cook. The host is very responsive and answered all of our questions right away. Would highly recommend this home to couples or for girl’s getaway’s, plenty of room!
Great Stay!
4/5 The house is beautifully renovated maintaining much original detail. It was plenty of space for our family of 4. Originally our Aunt was meant to join us but had to cancel for health reasons at the last minute. It still would have been plenty of space for all of us. We spent a lot of time playing board games (that we brought) and cooking. It was fantastic. Great restaurants close by too. One thing that would be nice is if host would provide a few courtesy items (an extra roll of toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, salt and pepper, olive oil, a couple of keurig coffee cups, a few hangers for clothes) and the other thing is 3 of the bedrooms were rather bare (just bed, side table and fan) - there was only storage for clothing in 1 of the 4 bedrooms which meant living out of our bags for the week.
