  My wife and I stayed here for 10 days. The interior of the house is quite cozy, although my take is that the property was put on VRBO as soon as possible, as some work still needs to be done. For example, the bathroom needs a new coat of paint, and some trim needs to be completed in the living room. The kitchen cupboards look a bit DIY. The living room furniture was not comfortable, but in all fairness, we are considered “seniors“, so maybe not all renters would agree with our estimation.

  I would have to say I was most disappointed in the outdoor space. It is not well kept. The fence is in terrible shape, and the lawn is really just dirt and leaves. The trees all need to be trimmed. Unlike the (quite attractive) photos, not a pleasant place to sit and read or enjoy a cup of coffee.

  Would we stay there again? Maybe. But I hope the place would be given a little TLC before the next time.

• Wonderful older home

  Nicely updated but with the charm of being an older property. It made my week away from home feel just as relaxing as being home, was so clean and comfortable. Beds were fantastic! Great property!

  House was clean upon arrival. Couch and chair in living room was very uncomfortable and low to the ground.

• Peaceful and Relaxing

  Peaceful, quiet home with mango trees! I ate fresh mango every day.

  Master bedroom has comfortable King size bed. Second bedroom has two single beds. Huge living room with big SMART tv and comfy couch. Apartment size w/d Kitchen has utensils (eating and cooking) pots/pans/plates/bowls. Nice neighborhood, close to grocery stores, beaches, main roads and shopping stores, restaurants. (You must visit Paisano’s for amazing baked goods) Idyllic Siesta Key, drum circles on the beach (Nokimis, Siesta Key, sunset.) The backyard is quiet and has bamboo trees that provide plenty of shade.

  Will book again and have recommended Making Waves to friends and family.
