    The dome home is a special and unique house and vacation experience. My friend and I had a great time relaxing on the outdoor patios, reading swings, and the hammock. The views were just incredible, and it was so relaxing watching the pelicans and gulls, seeing the moon at night--really magical.

    You can definitely cook and make good use of the kitchen during your stay. We also drove to nearby beaches and the state park, and there are several really nice restaurants in the area.

    For friends staying, it was fine for us, but it is a rather open design, including the bathroom on the top floor (in case that helps anyone make their decision). As for location, just know that you have to drive or have a boat to go anywhere else; the area is not designed for walkers.

  • Myrtle Grove Sound Dome home

    We enjoyed the peacefulness and relaxing atmosphere of this home on the water. The views from this home were amazing. We spent a lot of time on the decks and also the hammock chairs underneath were awesome. Loved watching the dolphins almost everyday. We rented kayaks from Kayak Carolina and they were very helpful with info regarding tides and best times to enjoy the sound. Even though it stormed or rained a little everyday we were able to kayak to the island. We will definitely come back and stay at this beautiful and unique home.

  • Wonderful home!

    Thanks for sharing your wonderful home! The views were beautiful and it was extremely peaceful sitting on the deck and just listening to the water. The home was clean. The only issue was the jetted tub in the master bath didn’t work, but that didn’t ruin our trip. We will definitely try to return again!
