  • Great stay at Heavenly Daze Chalet

    5/5

Our family of four (2 adults, 2 teens) stayed at Heavenly Daze Chalet for 4 nights last week, and really enjoyed our stay! Eddie was a great host and was easily accessible when we had a question about the best way to get to the slopes. He also included a welcome binder with lots of information about the condo and the neighborhood, etc. The condo is exactly as described, and it was so nice to have the two bedrooms and two bathrooms, as well as the washer and dryer. The only thing that I didn’t understand before booking was that it is not ski-in ski-out. However, it is an easy 5 minute drive to the Stagecoach Lot and lift. There is also a shuttle that is easy to take to and from the lift. You could also walk to the lift, but there was luckily a lot of snow the week we were there! We had never stayed on the Nevada side before, and really loved that it was less crowded. We will definitely return to this condo!

  • Great Condo but not Ski in / out

    5/5

The condo is clean, nice, newly decorated with solid amenities. But, you cannot walk or ski to the slopes. You must take a small buss or drive.

  • Nice place to stay

    4/5

Fireplace, nice kitchen, comfortable, good location. 2 coffee pods for 3 adults staying 4 days was dissapointing. Get better variety of pillows! They were all too fat and lumpy for us. Host was friendly, but late check-in/early check out is not too thoughtful.

  • Clean little condo w access issues during the snow melt

    4/5

Heavenly Daze is a lovely little condo. Clean, newly remodeled, well appointed with comfy beds and linens. It’s a corner unit and has a wrap around deck with great views. The one big issue is that as the snow is melting the walkways and stairs you need to tackle to get to the front door are covered in ice and snow. The landings between floors are like skating rinks. The condo association will need to address it before someone seriously hurts themselves. Aside from the access issues it’s a great rental.

  • Great Place. Could have been better prepared given late check-in and early check-out.

    4/5

The condo was clean, beautiful, spacious and very comfortably laid out with great windows and light. The 2nd bedroom had no window, which is a little odd but isn't really a problem. Well-equipped kitchen and a good TV with apps available. The HOA did a good job of clearing snow during a very snowy time so we always had access in and out.The place itself is well worth a 5-star review, and the price was very competitive, but I had enough issues with the service to knock it down to 4-stars.First of all, check-in and check-out times are 4pm and 10 a.m. This is a little annoying. Seems every place I have ever stayed has a 3 pm check-in and 11 am or 12 pm check-out. this means the manager has an extra 2 hours to prepare the place and I have to get up an hour early to pack and clean the place a little, per their instructions - which were reasonable and clear.Even though they had the two extra hours, the back balcony was covered in snow. Nobody had taken the time to clear that off. So, getting to the box on the balcony meant a trip through the snow.Second, the fireplace was not set up to work with a touch of a button. The manager said "Nobody is supposed to touch the fireplace. It should just work." Well, it didn't and in the extra 2 hours they had to prepare the place, nobody bothered checking it, let alone fixing it. I was told to dig up the manual and see if I could get it running. I did dig up the manual but decided it wasn't worth the effort. The trash can with the lid that goes up/down with a wave of your hand was out of batteries. And the dishwasher was quite loud, too. The first time we took showers (one in each of the 2 showers at the same time) we ran out of hot water in about 5 minutes. We had better luck later making sure only 1 person showered at a time. The wifi was out when we arrived, due to weather and power problems in the general area. I think this was a T-mobile wifi router. Maybe a hard-wired router would be more stable. Having some snow scrapers and shovels available would be helpful.Even with these issues, I would recommend the place. The introductory letter they sent said the wanted feedback so they could imrove and I would expect they will.
